With stops where? I thought that the 800 had less range than the 700.
 
It does... but ATA is flying them and I believe Alaska as well. Who knows... I know we'd be quite a bit weight-restricted out of SNA.
 
Aloha will be leasing a 737-800 starting in November for the OGG-Oakland route for about 6 months. Info just came out...

Plans call for Aloha to use the -800 for five months, through April 2008, principally on the Maui-Sacramento route
 
Didn't the first post claim the route was OGG-Auckland?
 
I'm really curious to see our -800 rates. I got a big kick out of the company asking us to fly them at -700 rates for 6 months and then get a raise.

On the other hand, what's the deal with the FO shortage on the -700? I hear we had some cancellations the last couple of days due to lack of FO's. We have 12 -700 FO's on reserve this month. Next month, we have 7! Hilarious!!!
