Process of elimination, Who has the cash.
Republic - no
Pncl - probably not
Awac - no
Mesa - who knows
Trans States - maybe

who does that leave....
Well, I would have to say you're probably right. If SkyWest bought Eagle I would imagine they drove a hard bargain that protects their own best interests.
 
Why would they create new flows with ASA and Skywest when they didn't even want to keep the ones that were already negotiated? The only thing I could see happening is if they payed Delta off to do it. Other than that, it makes no sense.
 
Something to think about is cost...... by having a flow, Delta guarantees themselves a steady flow of pilots from the upper level of the regional pilots, thus lowering their cost for regional feed.
 
I know that PNCL Union is trying to work with Delta Union with it. Apparantly at the time Delta Management is not interested.
