Hey Ty , here's your one reason, because we bought you BEOTCH!

Those were some of the "special circumstances" . . . I never flew with any, though.
They also tried to get Boeing717 through, too, but he washed out before he even got to the Sim . . . . .

All of that is WAY over my pay grade. All I know is that the mechanism for increasing our rates and work rules to match SWA's prior to Integration of the ISL is in place in the Process Agreement. WHEN it happens is purely up to GK and BJ.That sounds good for Airtran. ALPA gets you SWAPA pay rates until everybody is the same. That would take SWAPA out of the picture to prevent holding out. It would also mean that Airtran would get the same pay for the 737 and 717 as SWAPA gets without being represented by SWAPA. Who cares if SWA left you operating seperatly as long as ALPA gets the same benefits as SWAPA. I assume you would also get the raises that SWAPA will be getting? One other question, would Airtran also get all of the other benefits that SWAPA has like retirement etc.? It also means that SWA would be operating a new aircraft without giving their approval and that when it does come under their contraol the pay rate will already be determined.
I am not who you think I am. Why do you think I work for Airtran? Because of the picture of the 717? It figures that all it takes is a picture to get you to open your mouth and make a fool out of yourself.

As far as who cares if SWA operates us separately? I do. The "synergies" can't be realized fully until everything is combined. Running us separately gives SWA increased revenues with Scope relief to "connect the dots", but there's a LOT (hundreds of Millions of $$$) on the cost side that can't be realized without a COMPLETELY integrated company.
I want OUR company (a combined SWA/AAI) to be as profitable and successful as possible, which means I want all this done, synergies realized, and kicking tail in the ATL sooner rather than later! Not that I get a vote (well, I get one, but that's only when the MC/NC's bring us something to vote on)...
Who's going to the "mat"??
