Ummm, because you said as much when you created your name. Now you don't work for us? I called that right away, remember the PM you sent me?

Keep thinking that I work for Airtran. One of you stated I did not work for Airtran but worked for SWA. I guess you never really know who you are talking to on this site. Well, except for a couple of them and we all know who they are.

I believe the Morris guys were pay protected from day 1. I think Swapa went to the mat.

Not the mat....but went to BAT for them. Morris had NO union. They voted SWAPA in and the rest is history. They look real smart now!

The opener is tomorrow. All this speculation starts to get pushed aside. Fantasy versus reality will set in pretty quick. Good luck everyone we will need it. In the end everyone is employed somewhere on the list.

You mean for the SLI? That was interesting to watch at DL/NWA. Both sides put in things that were lopsided to say the least, but the arbitrators will put something in the middle. Expect it, and don't get too upset about it, each side has to fight for their side initially.

Bye Bye---General Lee

Yeah, that and your i.p. address. If you've been on this board since 1996, you'd know where to find it, too. Welcome to the party, junior.

Ty: every SWA pilot on the property, interviewed, got a type, had a probationary year and worked up the seniority list....if you end up anywhere OTHER than at the bottom of the SWA MSL, you will be getting something no other pilot has ever gotten...yet, that is not enough...What makes you so special? Oh, Federal Law...

Your company chose to buy the airline I fly for, and merge it with the other airline they own, the one you fly for.

Some pilots are handling it better than others.

Mama GUP,

How do you know Airtran's next contract wouldn't have mirrored yours? Do you know for certain? Again, are you sure?

An arbitrator or group of them will look at what each group brings to the table, like fleet size, aircraft type, and career expectations. But, payrates come and go. Recessions, high oil, BKs can do that to anyone's contract. A joint contract before the SLI equalizes everything. Now we see why SWAPA may not want to do that, which at the same time is mean towards your new family members. Take note Airtran pilots.

OYS

The money comes and goes but seniority is forever? How's your seniority at United working out for you?

I rest my case.

Gup
