you should thank the man on my avatar. do you know who it is?

perhaps Gen. Sherman would be a better one. i like what he did to ATL.

General McAuliffe. You know that the 101st Airborne trained in Georgia during WWII not too far from dried up Lake Lanier? Too bad Milwaukee didn't burn down instead of Chicago.

I'm impressed. It's MacAuliffe though, but still impressed. And no didn't know the 101st trained in GA. Was Lake Lanier there then? (googling now.....no it wasn't. it was made in 1956. how appropriate it's the "buford" dam that formed it!)

This is Sheriff Buford T Justice. I'm in pursuit of a black trans am. He's all mine, so stay out of the way!

If Mrs. O'Leary's cows were in the north suburbs perhaps MKE would have burned. ;)

Look up Camp Toccoa. It is just northeast of Lake Lanier by the Foothills VOR (ODF). The famous Currahee Mountain is clearly visible while on the arrivals from the northeast. Also, Ft Benning south of Atlanta was and is still the military jump school.

I knew Benning was still the jump school, but had no clue on Camp Toccoa. Thanks for the info! See you learn interesting stuff here on Flightinfo!

You haven't read or seen "Band of Brothers"?

Funny you mention that. A fellow reserve FO is bringing me the DVD's this week to watch. I know they are making a "Pacific" series soon to follow "Band of Brothers".

never been a Steven Ambrose fan.

Wait, what? I'm confused. What were we talking about.

Oh ya, gates in ATL. Now I see how all this applies.

you know i saw metallica in 1997 at the Rosemont Horizon. almost got a contact buzz from the pot smoke around us. i am happy to report of the 4 chicks pre show flashing people, one was sitting right in front of us. god bless the usa! i still think kirk is gay though (even though he's married now).

Some them 86, and about 10 times after that. But after Injustice For All they kinda sold out. But I still go to see them because they play all the stuff that rocks! I grew about 3 miles from James, met him once at the grocery store.

Now back to the crying
