Thanks for the info T-Gates. Do you know where they do the training at? I have seen them flying out of CWA in Wisconsin, and also my home airport of KAUW. Just curious. I know I am getting ahead of myself, but I would like to know as much as possible going into this interview.

When I interviewed they told me it was done right there at MKE. They had a place where you could stay free, and paid per diem while in training.

I think LGA is where the other Shorts sim is located.

They also have a jumpseat agreement with Delta. That is how I first learned about them actually. My interview is scheduled for the 27th. Did I read someone saying that flying time can be as low as 15 hours a month? I assume you still get paid a minimum guarantee, or is that not so?

I emailed my resume about three weeks ago and haven't heard a thing.(I've got almost 3500TT, and over 500 multi, and some previous part 135 time in a caravan.Go figure?

I got my paper work today and they want a current first class medical...which I do not have....I tried calling to see if it was imparative that I had one at the time of the interview and not date of hire, but I have not gotten a response. Anyone else know if its that big of a deal for the interview to have first class medical?

You will be competing with plenty of other guys who have current first class medicals, so get it. But if you don't get it, please don't wonder why you get a "thanks but no thanks". It's all about following simple directions.

Your right. I've heard other place get upset with applicants who come with an expired 1st class.

With such short notice, I got lucky and got an appointment for tuesday.

I went in for my medical on tuesday, but they found some sugar in my piss test. They tested me for diabetes, but thankfully that came up negative and now I have to go back on tuesday to piss in a cup again. Not worried, I will drink nothing but water before it, but talk about crappy timing. With my interview on Monday, I will have to go in with a first class medical, but the priviledges will have expired in June. Should I tell them the difficulties I had with the medical and that I am sure I will get it on Tuesday? Or just say I do not have it yet? What would you do?? I looked like this monkey when they said they were going to test me.

One more brain buster. Do they tell you right away if they are going to hire you? or is it the thanks and we will let you know deal. I know someone posted that if you screw up they will let you know right away.

Get the news right away, good or bad. Was led to believe you have to screw up big time in the sim (easy as pie) to miss out but it could be anything i guess if they get a bad vibe or feeling.

I had the same happen to me on my first medical. The doctor said it was because I had excerised before I can come in. They gave me a cup and had to bring back a sample the next day without exercising. Everything was fine then. Drink lots of water before you go so you can actually pee when they want you to.
