Awesome. They sound cool too. One more question T-Gates. Would it be good to have the ATP knowledge test completed prior to applying or would that be getting ahead of oneself? Thanks!

Does ACC operate the Shorts that stays at Sioux Falls and is painted like a cartoon of a city bus? I love that scheme! I need to take a picture of it sometime when I am stopping through.

yea, that is one of our planes, called the face plane it used to fly people around austrialia on air tours.

The website doesnt show Milwaukee as a base, is this correct? I just find it strange that the hq is in MKE but not a base. please correct me if im wrong.

MKE is where the main office and main maint. is performed on the planes, the aircraft are based all over the country though for different scheduled and charter runs. Our charter office is in Denton, TX.

Are any of the 360s pressurized? What model Short flies out of RNO & FAT?

Don't ask, don't tell...

None of the shorts are pressurized so we have O2 in some of them to go up to 20k. The RNO run has the 330 flying out of it but I'm not sure about the FAT run.

Thanks

Appreciate the reply.

What does the Capt pay top out at?

Turnover at ASG?

Is there much turnover for the crew based at Springdale, AR ASG? How would you rate that run compared to the others?

Thank you.

Is Air Cargo Carriers associated in any way with North Star Air Cargo?
None of the shorts are pressurized

Hey Guys,

I used to work for Jim, Harry and Steve back in the 90's. Good to see a picture of the ole' Shorty.

NorthStar was and I believe still is their sister company.

Shorts Bros. did pressurize one 360 in 1980 or 81 as request from a commuter airline, American Eagle i think. It obviously did not work and the project was scapped.

Hey is the black rat still floating around?

Springdale, AR

Can someone from within the company please comment on the turnover at Springdale, AR and the quality of the run there compared to others. In your opinion, how hard would it be to be based there if hired? PM's welcome.

Thanks.

When you get hired you get hired to fly the airplane. They put you where they need you. If there is no opening where you are asking...then you won't go there.

Maybe you can indicate your preference though.

For FO's the posted mins are 1500/300.... More likely is anywhere around 1000 hours with 50 or more ME. Send in your resume, you never know.

We have jumpseat with most regionals, some big ones are NWA, Southwest, Air Tran, and US Airways.

Great place to work for...

:D

Sure do...

Ah, I didn't see that. :)

Is there any posibility of getting to another base, as need arises? Will they move current pilots from one base to another if a pilot wishes?

Is there any other way to apply other than paying to use the website ACC prefers?
