Your little C&C condition remark: (Capts don't lose their slot in PHX) doesn't hold any water out here a$$ munch. Of course no west capt will lose their slot, no fo's either. But what happens when PHX starts to grow and new positions open? Ahh, well its all based on doh then right? Who the he!! do you think your fooling??

Thanks Dave. I guess the young PFT crowd of AWA frequents this board. Many are ex 90's commuter pilots. Not to many real USAir pilots on here. It's an age thing.

M

Yourself included right doosh?
I mean you're not a real Us Airways pilot. Maybe your man love st. nic is. However, making less than most Mesa pilots, isn't something to be real proud of.....
Only thing is, you're still a Gulfstream Academy washout.

They were not furloughed out of seniority. The Nic award is worthless and will remain worthless until we have a joint contract - which we do not.

Frankly, if you'll read the TA, the company has an additional 12 months after a joint agreement before the first system bid joining the 2 pilot groups is to be put out.

Your attempted distortion of the process does none of us any good.

Once again, your opinion of the value of the Nicolau Award. You are correct, the Nicolau Award remains unused until a joint contract is ratified (and then some time after that, true).

I did not distort the process. This has now taken over 5 years and counting. I said the courts will ultimately decide the final outcome, and that because one party REFUSES to accept a final and binding arbitration. In the meantime the east continues to work under LOA 93 wages, meaning the loss of MILLIONS of dollars and WEEKS (if not MONTHS) of time off that will never be recovered. Pity.

According to the transcripts the pilots that were furloughed from AAA at the announcement of the merger were FURLOUGHED. They were called back to work (at the NEW US Airways) after the merger was completed in Sept. 2005. Conversely, AWA was hiring and growing. 140+ former AWA pilots that are SENIOR to those furloughed pilots on the Nicolau Award were furloughed out of seniority order during the recent down turn in the economy. Regardless of separate operations, those guys were still senior.

Revisionist history is a no-sale here. Time is ticking on, MILLIONS of dollars are being lost in a contract that we should have had 2 years ago. The biggest benefactor? USAPA legal counsel by leaps & bounds.

Suggest you settle in. Spoke with an Atlas buddy the other day - 10 years down the road an that merger is still dead in the water.

Separate Ops - you have no bidding power out East.

See you in 2015.

I heard from an Atlas pal that they are close to a contract- and the rates are north of DAL.
Cleary's going to deliver an industry leading contract for US- the west will be VERY happy imo

The only thing industry leading the scumbags out east have done is bringing the industry down.
Congrats on that job stealer......Um, st. nic.

Cleary can't deliver a Effing newspaper!!! You're going to be under LOA93 for the rest of your career. You chose it, you live it, too effing bad.

Your only hope is to dump USAPA and accept reality.

Here's the difference: The Atlas vs. Polar is quite different. USAPA was formed for the specific reason to dodge the final & binding seniority list. USAPA was caught trying to deliver a DOH list to LCC instead of accepting the Nicolau Award.

Yes, we are in this 5 years. It will be less than another 5 (2 more likely) before we are given a contract to vote on (that will likely include the Nicolau Award).

If the LOA 93 grievance is lost, you are stuck with that contract. If we are offered a contract that is basically the AWA contract (generally a better contract) along with the Delta wage scale + 1%.......are you so sure that it will not pass ratification?? It's a pity that we will not be able to recover the money and time off lost, and still be in the same seniority boat. The good news here is at least someone was supremely confident.

I plan on being in Philly in 2012 (unless of course the Mayan's were correct, and that will be the end of the world). See you there kiddo.
