Thanks Dave. I guess the young PFT crowd of AWA frequents this board. Many are ex 90's commuter pilots. Not to many real USAir pilots on here. It's an age thing.

So You're claiming that you're primary motivation to get on here and cheer on the fake union has NOTHING to do with a certain 1999 hire?

Right.

I don't believe your claim that a 2005 hire could hold captain on the east. Post up your latest equipment bid and then the I'll look at the Nic list.

Could a furloughed east pilot hired in 1989 hold a senior captain slot in PHX with a DOH list? Not just any DOH list, but the list that USAPA handed to the company that does not adjust for LOS.

Come on MCDU, answer the question.

Go to wings. It is all there to see.The East bids are posted there. Bottom E 190 Cap about 300 numbers behind furloughed west pilots.

LOS.

First of all, there are no furloughed 1989 East pilots. They were recalled 5 years ago while Nic was trying to figure out the list. CAL, United Delta, all had pilots on furlough back then due to 9/11 and outsourcing. When the list came out, East 1989 were active pilots due to East attrition.

Read the C and R's. You do not lose any Capt seats in PHX. There are protections for West bases. The Nic has nothing.

So, a 1989 pilot could hold capt. in PHX if there is an opening. Bottom line, the West is scared. Te jobs they had in 2005 are worth nothing and now they want to have a lifeboat to East bases were the East pilots sacrified down to min fleet and BK wages.

I'm sorry to correct you, but the furloughed pilots at the former US Air were recalled while the two merger committees went through the merged seniority integration process. Those pilots had no chance to return to a job, had the merger not occurred. Arbitrator Nicolau and the two pilot neutrals got it right. "Fairness" is in the eye of the beholder.....and we all have heard your opinion countless times on what is fair.

Conversely the pilots that had a job when US Air was acquired were furloughed out of seniority during the recent downturn in the economy. God Bless them all, the are returning to work in PHX in earnest.

Go peddle your revisionist history somewhere else. We'll not be buying any of your DOH w/ C&R cheer leading today, or any other day. Further, we are not scared in the least. This will be played out in our court systems because one side fails to recognize a final and binding arbitration, and the other side is forced to defend our position and will not roll over and give you what you think you are entitled to.

M; It seems that with your knowledge level & enthusiasm, you must simply be a pilot for the new US Air. I would guess that you are a junior (previously furloughed) pilot that returned to the new US Airways. Your knowledge of the events likely also places you in USAPA as a fervent volunteer. Good for you. Everyone needs a hobby.

Have a great night! Next week will be a great week......cool nights, brightly colored leaves, and the hint of frost just around the corner. I'm just finishing a week's vacation and a week next to it off. It has been awesome. Our time off, vacation time, sick time, LTD, STD, dead-head pay, mechanical pay (to name just a few advantages) and all the rest of the contract we work under are pretty darn good. You guys could have had that and a wage that would have been 10-11% greater than what the AWA wages are currently (at the least)! Pity.

so there.....

So US Air would have recalled pilots even if the merger had not happened?

I did. I didn't say we would. There are none. Then why are you afraid of it?

Finally he answers the question.

But you know what, it doesn't matter because your DOH dream list will never see the light of day.

They were not furloughed out of seniority. The Nic award is worthless and will remain worthless until we have a joint contract - which we do not.

Frankly, if you'll read the TA, the company has an additional 12 months after a joint agreement before the first system bid joining the 2 pilot groups is to be put out.

Your attempted distortion of the process does none of us any good.
