Carpie, just go punch her again. It will help relieve your stress. Make sure the kids are there too.

"New rule: once you join a regional, you stay at a regional. Majors should only hire military pilots, corporate pilots and heavy jet pilots from the non-sched/ACMI world. Why...because those pilots got their experience from activities that didn't undermine the very job they hoped to attain."
Legacy pilots outsourced the RJs that are prevalent at the regional level. Regional pilots today are NOT to be be blamed for this current environment, an environment that legacy pilots (especially Delta) created in the the early 90s. In the interest of protecting larger flying and scales, RJs were out sourced.

Majors should hire from the regionals, and when the tide turns, they will continue to do so.

Not exactly.

The Delta pilots set the scope limit at 50 seats and below with the Saab 2000 in mind but before the CRJ was hatched.

In other words, they were just completely shortsighted. They completely failed to take into account any evolution in the industry. Static thinking sure has served them well!

What? The CRJ was developed and went into service before the Saab 2000. The CRJ flew two years before the Saab.

Moderators please kill this thread...

Take your sense of entitlement back to the affirmative action, liberalistic, "where's my gubment check?" rock you crawled out from under.

Clearly the maturity level is higher at the regionals-so don't worry "tool" , I'll gladly stay here!

The way it should work is that when a major furloughs, the major furloughee can choose to flow back to his regional's code share partner and take a Captains seat at the top of the list, since the regional probably caused his furlough in the first place.

you don't got a clue do you?

regionals didn't cause the furlough. Twice as many airlines than are needed- half of them selling $109 airfares IS what caused the last 7 years worth of furloughs.

Im just happy all Comair pilots are losing their jobs and going on wellfare. Serves them right. Park them 50 seaters!!!!!

f--- you. Who you work for? Go f--- yourself with that attitude.
