All the manuvers I have seen or done at airshows are the same manuvers we do on a very normal basis. Gun pattern, Tactical formation, weapons patterns, the carrier break.
It's all the same thing we do in resticted areas, at airshows we just do it in front of a crowd. NO BIG DEAL TO US, but can provide a thrill to the public.
The airshow demonstration teams obviously have more practice time and have a set routine, but as far as the normal flyby stuff, we do that at the carrier for the troops all the time. It gets them siked up and makes them feel a little more part of the team. This 757 flyby could have been just that.
