The 20 year F/O better upgrade or find another way of making a living.

Normal upgrade should be 2 years or less over there...DUH.

"Duh".... What is that supposed to mean? You don't base a payscale on when people will upgrade. That pay sucks and people are excited to go work there? Captain pay blows for a 747.

What's your point?

A 12 year CAPTAIN at Jetblue makes only $89 hour.

This profession is not what it used to be. We are all just glorified bus drivers now.

Pay Scale

Why not? UPS (and a few more carriers) pay scale(s) are by seat and years of service, not type. I believe the industry is not what it used to be, but I don't feel like a "Glorified Bus Driver".

Are you saying that UPS' $190/hr for a senior captain on a 7 yr old contract with a BIG pay raise coming soon is insufficient?

Pay Scales

I just pointed out that a lot (mostly cargo ops) scales are based on "Seat and Seniority" not size of plane.
