    Southern to furlough

the former Cargo 360 pilots are in the middle of the pack. Hopefully the FEs who were hired just before the take-over won't be furloughed for long. Hopefully, everyone will be back soon. I know at least one will be back sooner than they think. Cheers

The seniorty issue is moot whether we agree or disagree. It's clear that the employment offer is take it or leave it! How about you just say "Thank you" for the $10000/$5000, new scheduler, new airplanes, etc.. Cheers

Cargo 360 just bought Southern Air

I PMd Dakota, hope he's satisfied. A few questions remain. 1. Why do you put up with 20 day rotations for around 65 hrs of operating? Am I missing something? Your August bid packet took awhile to decipher, but I'm sure I'll get better with practice. It doesn't seem very efficient. 2. The...

KAL wasn't involved in the discussions and have only recently been informed. It is my understanding that they have not yet responded either for or against. Also, that KAL's contract was with Cargo 360, No Cargo 360, No contract. Many herdles to over come yet.

Any Mil Res/Guard folks at SAI? This is a big problem! I'm not savey enough to say definitively if this is legal or not. I'll be following this up with the appropriate folks at the 446TH AW. Any insight prior to then would be greatly appreciated.

Cargo 360 just bought Southern Air

If this might happen, we should start discussing real issues directly. I've some one in mind who would be an excellent longhaul embassador. SA pilots, any thoughts?

Cargo 360 just bought Southern Air

That is my understanding as well. Oak Hill Capital would own both, then I speculate would merge them some how. I've been told it's going to happen. I'd be interested to hear the voice mail. If this does happen, let's work together for the betterment of the pilot group.
