    Emb145 ----> Ce750

    Few years ago, we were gaining speed on F16's over Colorado, granted they hadn't kicked on their afterburners, but it was fun!!

    Emb145 ----> Ce750

    I know quite a few guys that have gone over to XO in the past 6 mos, they all speak highly of the company, good stock options, qol, pay (if you're previously typed and can upgrade PIC quick), etc. There's a big section that T-Bone runs in Charters on XO. Check it out, and good luck!

    Tax Time Q

    BizJet800 has a good grasp on write offs, be careful with the cell phone bill though. The Tax Law actually states that the phone has to be used 100% for business and not reimbursed of course. They don't allow you prorate or portion any of it for business only. If you have a plan that you go...

    Two media helicopters collide in PHX

    Ya I'm hearing that on the news as well.. from a legal stand point it won't stick. Charging the a$$hole that started all of this...too bad if you ask me. I'm sure if you could ask any of those 4 men they wouldn't have it any other way... they were doing what they LOVED just as all Aviators...

    You should find it in box 12 (sometimes w/code letter L) Otherwise as the others have said, look at your YTD on final pay stub for the year.

    withheld taxes

    Ya, not arguing the point with you, but how much are we really talking about here... for contract flying if it's more than $20k he's doing good ... then you gotta look at rather that puts you in another tax bracket and if not how much are you really saving with an S Corp for the hassle. As...

    withheld taxes

    Technically what you're saying is correct.. an S corp does provide single taxation, it eliminates double taxation... but you wouldn't be double taxed if you included this on your individual return. S Corp is known for payroll tax breaks. All of the previous items stated in this thread can be...

    withheld taxes

    Forming an individual LLC won't give you a tax break. You'll still get a 1099 at the end of the year and it gets reported on Schedule C whether you are an individual or an LLC individual. Your best bet for tax breaks is in your write offs. Any out of pocket expenses required to do what you're...
