SkyWest or Shuttle America
I work for Shuttle and can tell you that (for a regional) it is fine. Contrary to popular belief, our contract is not that bad. Of course, it could be better, but whose couldn't. FO pay is probably the biggest problem with the contract, but we have no junior manning, 75 hour guar., 12 min... -

Actually if he was a Shuttle 3 years ago, now he would be a (senior) FO on the 170. Current captains are all from Chautauqua. So you went to court and were ordered to pay the 4K? I have not heard of the company taking it that far before. Very interesting, as I know that we have a ton of... -

Needs Advice, Turboprop to Jet Company
I'm currently a Capt on the 170 at Shuttle. IMO, if you have the 800 hours of PIC, don't leave until you get at least the 1000. After that, if you can afford it, why not come over here. You would be able to continue to apply for the "big boys", but living in base and flying a 170 is not a bad... -

I'm based here with CHQ. We live in Kernersville. Its about 10 miles west of the airport. Its right in the middle of Winston salem, Greensboro, and High Point. NOTHING to do as far as nightlife in K-ville, but if your a family guy or whatever, the schools are good and you can avoid most city... -

Shortest Updgrade Time
Dude, Chautauqua!!! Current upgrade classes are full of guys/gals with 18 months with the company!! We are not talking b1900 here either. E145/170 and beyond. Even if Airways tanks, we are sitting OK (look for the 18 months to slow a little) but we are "rumored" to be getting yet another...
