    Pilot Honesty

Does anyone know if there are any FAR's that require pilot honesty and integrity? I was asked and I didn't know. I know about the ATP requirement of "Good moral character," but that not really what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

    ATP certificate and type rating

I don't think your friend is correct. I also got a type on my commercial but, I had to do the whole (identical ride) over again at FSI during a recurrent for my ATP. Any types you have are carried over from you commercial to your ATP when you get the certificate.

    Type Rating Barrier

I can't agree more with G200. Let your personality and the experience speak for you. People who go out a buy types, in my opinion, "Screw up the industry" by showing companies people are willing to pay to get the job.

I hate to rain on everyone’s parade, but at least for me corporate flying is awesome when it’s good but can really suck. See if your local DPE or FSDO to find someone who can do it and just rent a twin for the ride. You may have to pay for a few hours to get a checkout but you will probably come out ahead.
