There is a hotel just north of the freeway that was advertising something like $189 a week on a big banner in front of the hotel. It's right on the north edge of the airport. Maybe someone at FS could get you the name.
Take care.

For the sake of accuracy, I just want to state that no where does Raytheon direct an emergency descent for a cracked windshield. And Turbine was right in that you won't find it in any emegency checklist. It is considered an Abnormality.
And for the sake of more accuracy, it was BB1638, a 1998...
Powerfoam from Jetstream Aircraft Cleaning Products. The best I've found.

Once the stain is impregnated in the paint, no topical product will remove it. For something abraisive I use Aeromagnolia dry wash.
I'm pretty much in Lead Sled's camp on the training issue. After reading several transcripts of weather related accidents, one really stuck with me. It went something like, " let's deviate to the left of that cell right there... it looks pretty thin to the left...shouldn't be in the precip but a...
jaydubya, it may or may not be required. In our AFM, in the supplement section, it specifically states that the manual for our FMS must be on board. Even gives a part # for the manual. Also the same requirement for our TCAS system.
And for the original poster give this link a try...
A flat prop (low pitch) will bend backwards and absorb energy as it bends. A feathered prop on a forward moving aircraft will not bend as easily when it strikes the ground and tends to transfer energy. Creates a bending moment at the hub. That's the theory anyway.
KA 200's after serial # BB1192 are hydraulic gear (with a few exceptions), those previous were mechanical. There are quite a few moving parts in the mechanical system, think lots of weak links and increased maint. cost.
High float gear uses a lower pressure ( larger ) tire. The high float...
Go back and read the first sentence of 2000flyers post. He is right on. Though I thought the total number of planes ever built was 34, that's not important. It's a pig and there is NO support for the aircraft.
There was one at an airport I frequent, and remember the owner saying that for one...
As fate would have it, looks like the TXK company has aquired a 400A. I heard this about a week ago. I know nothing about the plane, just that they got one.
The one I played with had Jeppview on it. The problem is that you couldn't thumbnail approaches or arrivals. It was a 3 step process to look at a different chart. May not be an issue with Flightdeck.
Due to the small screen size you had to scroll around to see the entire plate. So you had to...
For a unit with an integrated keyboard we use this one from Toshiba. The dimming sucks, the daylight visibility is marginal at best and it's too big as an EFB. http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/cmod.to?seg=HHO&coid=-26373
This one is better suited for EFB use and has good daylight...

I'm a Sonny Bryan's fan. Several locations in Dallas. Also Mike Andersons BBQ House is a good one we used to frequent.
Save a night for a hop over to Three Forks. One of the best steaks I've ever had in Dallas and a wine selection to match.
I've heard that Baker's BBQ downtown is...
