Well, it seems my prior concerns are a moot now, as I flew solo for the first time today. :)
Thanks for the comments and support, everyone. I'll keep posting my progress, for those interested.
Well, I easily eclipsed the 20 hour mark today (by like 1.5 hours, actually), yet I find myself still awaiting that much anticipated first solo flight. Anything to be worried about? My instructor keeps telling me (and my friends) that I'm doing fantastic. I'm been doing 100% of the flying in the...
Heh, no worries. I was just thinking about it and stuff. The thing is, by the time the FAA is ready to call them, there may be thousands of 30-year-old bday parties that have passed since then. I just turned 26 and think I may be able to squeeze in nicely if I start training soon.

I forgot to mention that I train (and work) at a very busy Class D airport (APF), and that I only get a chance to fly once a week (believe me, if I could do it everyday, I would)...
I've heard of people taking their first solo flight with as little as 5 hours logged, which seems rather scary to me. However, it seems the median is around 10, judging by the comments on this board and others.
Due to whatever reason, my flight school tends to average around 15-20 hours, which...
