Thinking about a trip to Bali, and the only airline I can find that goes there from the US is Korean. I think I can get an ID 90 on them. Any other ways to go? Perhaps a short flight out of Singapore or Sydney? Thanks for any suggestions.
After negotiating with the Delta MEC, the Comair MEC has agreed to ask thier management to hire furloughed Delta pilots without having to give up their seniority at Delta. This is confirmed on the current Comair VARS message.
I wonder what the Delta pilots plan to do for us in return?

In the interests of more positive posts, here's an idea. What things do you know now that you wish you knew when you were first starting to fly? I don't want to make anyone feel bad about what they do, but just have an outlet for suggestions on how to handle things a bit better. Two come to...
I was sitting on a taxiway because of an ATC ground hold recently, and a frequent flyer in the back called our parent company, in a state far, far away, and asked them about the delay. The frequent flyer department told him that we couldn't possibly be delayed, as they had no notice of any...
I heard on the news today that Cincinnati is number one, for TSA inspectors able to smuggle fake knives, guns and bombs into the airport. I feel so much safer now. Of course, nobody is safe, since planes fly from here to all over the world. Good luck everyone.
Okay, now for something lighter. I just met a pretty, young air traffic controller that just got out of a long term relationship with a pilot. She was asking me to hook her up with my pilot friends, because she loved the lifestyle. She loved the free flying her companion bennies gave her, and...
I asked this question before, but somehow it disappeared. I got a message by email that my message box was full, but there isn't anything in it. Would the webmaster please check on this and let me know what is wrong with it. Thanks and have a good day.
Sorry, but I don't know how else to resolve this. I keep getting emails that my inbox is full, but there is nothing in it. Would someone who knows this system please check this out, and tell me what to do. Thank you very much.
I just got word from a credible source that the alleged denied jumpseat in a comair aircraft, was not the way it was originally reported. It looks like the Delta pilot who wanted the jumpseat was an instigator in the arguement, and the Comair pilot has been absolved of all charges. Now, the...
Every time I read a post about the rjdc, someone says that merged lists will never happen, or that Delta doesnt' want it, or some other reason that it will never happen. To this I say, good. I came to work for Comair hoping someday to move on to something better, and I still may, but I also...
For those of you that fly transport category aircraft, I have a question. When I flew the FK-27, I had one pilot show me how to push the stick foreward on the ground during takeoff before rotation, and after all three wheels are on the ground upon landing. It worked very well, as it seems to...

PLEASE don't take this personally, but I heard from an instructor that I flew with the other day that a few (read few) of the former Midway pilots now working at Comair are giving some attitude to their captains. Apparently, some captains have been complaining about the FO's, and they are being...
Try this on for size. Let's say you were a Delta pilot, and about ten years from now, a new airline was started called Interglobal. It flew only super-size A3XX's, and supersonic transports, as well as the space shuttle to our new outpost on the Moon. One day, the CEO decided he needed some...
I don't believe you ever sent me a private message about this point. I have done this several times, as you say, and you have never said a word. Well, a warning to me means that you will tell me not to do it again. What you have done is not a warning, but advised me that you have censored the...
No, I think this is my FIRST warning. I have never heard you tell me not to post anything before, and I thought it was welcome. Some people have not seen this stuff, and now I understand that you are not going to allow it. I think that's very sad, and perhaps you should get a job with one of...
I have some ideas on this subject, but would also like some ideas from other pilots who fly multi-crew aircraft. As a captain, you are always responsible for the flight, and in command, no question. However, every FO has had to deal with strange captains, perhaps even dangerous ones, and...
