Can anyone who works for Hawaiian check PHX-HNL on the 16th and HNL-PHX on the 20th? Going to by my wife a ticket but I'd like to jumpseat if it looks ok.
PM for reply.
Thanks in advance!

One thing that needs to be clarified is Allegiant doesn't fall into the 'job like this' category anymore. This is one of the few aviation jobs that allows you to have a normal adult life and still fly airplanes for a living - hence the clamoring.
LAX is 10 crews. March shows the junior FO as a new hire right out of training. I can't guess as to whether they'll keep growing the base, but if they do, more new hires could be assigned there.
Timber - $2000/mo in training, $41/hr with a 70 hr guar for the rest of year 1. No lodging...
Is there employee parking available at LAX and how much is it per month?
Are there any hotels close to the airport that offer decent crew rates?
Thanks!
Here's a good one.
ALGT - 898mil mkt cap based on current price of 44.20
LCC - 846mil mkt cap based on current price of 7.42.
This is about 20 mil more than the last quarterly loss.
For the love of God, can we simply have an informative thread without East/West potshots.?
The East and West furlough numbers are posted, so there's nothing left for us to say on this specific thread. The court system, not us, will determine if our specific schedule stands. We could go back...
Gen,
Not sure. Lots of road between right now and having to make that decision.
Just curious what the actual numbers are at other carriers for this thread.
I'd like to get some info regarding furloughs at various carriers.
I can only speak for AWA/US
- Proposed 300 furloughs, actual about 250, first on the street in sept '08. As proposed, it will get to mid 2004 on the AWA list.
How about, proposed furloughs, actual #'s and how far back into...
I'll be first to admit, I know little more about the company than what I've seen at the roadshow and what I've read online here and at pprune, but I'll try to answer some of the questions...
Salary for FO is the same on all aircraft - $6925 US/mo + housing allowance of 43k US/yr + free medical...
I went to the PHX one yesterday. Capt Matta will do the presentation 3 or 4 times throughout the day. So you won't have to wait long for the next one. After that, you can go talk to the recruiter and hand in your resume as well as possibly schedule an interview if you have the airbus time.
Does anyone know if the 1000PIC turbine is still a hard number for getting an interview over there or is that a leftover from when they were first starting up?
Thanks.
I applied for an ATC position during the latest window - Hawaii and national windows closing on 8/4 and 7/31 respectively.
How long does it take to create the referral lists after the windows close? It's been a couple weeks now and all it says on the ASAP page is that my app was received, but...
Nice!
Excellent recap, bytheway. Unfortunately, it's all just preaching to the choir at this point. A judge is going to finish this and no one's mind is going to change at this point.
Oh, and it's just a callsign...who the heck cares what it is. Sure it's nice that they're actually doing...
