Gentleman, do not forget. The USAPA self appointed leadership is there for 18 months. No elections, no representation. There are East pilots that have not paid a dime to USAPA, yet not one of them has received a bill or been sued by USAPA. We all know what this is about.

With oil at these levels, quite a few airlines are going to be gone. If you go Ch.11 you have to show an exit plan. Pretty tough to do with oil this high.

If oil makes it over $150/bbl, if you are 50% from the bottom you better be looking at that second career or a good college.
Consolidation, Great. But as long is there are 4 or more airlines out there, the competition will be too great and the fare wars will continue. ie, losses...
