I don't think ATL would be difficult and you should get there sooner rather than later.
CX walks you through the ATPL issue once you get hired, no worries there. You will spend your first two work weeks doing that conversion while getting payed.
No problem. I was a concerned believer also. Just underscores the importance of verifying everything seemingly important that is posted on these boards.
Cheers.
"Oh no, I've been rumbled.....
Actually, it was just a spoof. Honest. No, really, it was, I made it all up. No, really. It's not true. Believe me. Lies and fabrication, every last bit. I 'fess up. I haven't compromised company secrets. Not this time, anyway.
To my bonus.

Why is there a AAA lawsuit?
Gotta just love these AWA U-TURN GUYS, here is a reason why, a message from them:
The entire article is below but note the mindset:
"And without a single contract, the Nicolau Award cannot be implemented. This could buy the East as much as three years of...
Oh hp, your such a bad ass with that attitude, I bet the chicks really dig you!
"Broken him in half", ohhh, what a tough guy. A legend in your own mind, and obviously not OK with yourself. Are you going to post your height and weight again to intimidate us?
I really like your kitty cat...
Yes, but don't know why you would do that unless you want to go for command where it is about even. Things may change by then with a combined fleet in the future but I am really going out on a limb suggesting that because it is rumor right now. Too far away for you to concern yourself with in...
I know him. Are you hired? Some of the whinging is deserved, but it is usually by the folks that get wrapped around the axle pretty tightly over
the Cathay way. You can't be a sensitive type and thrive here.
By the way, we call Dakotas the "gay bar" because only pilots go in there.
Your off more than on. 7-10 days off between patterns and you may see the skipper again on the same pattern maybe not, he may be JFK or HKG based for example. Trips are pretty commutable on both pax and freighter ends and so maybe you need a hotel 2-4 times a month. You commute in early get...
The typical ATL trip or, um, pattern at CX about 75% of the time for FO's: ATL-ANC-HKG-ANC-DFW-ATL about 7 days with overnights in ANC both times and HKG.
I am only familiar with the DEFO gig.
No. As a DEFO you won't be able to go to HKG until your so called 3 year freighter committment is done. So called, because it has and can be extended by CX and you are not pay protected when it happens. That committment starts after you have completed...
Hide behind the word "Binding" all you want. There is an expectation that a reasonable standard will be maintained by the arbitrator. I guess it is safe to assume that if he would have decided that all AAA East pilots should be immediately terminated, you would defend that also. He dropped the...
Thanks for the history lesson and, your rationalizations only denigrate
yourself. Why not drop your lawsuit now that you are furloughed from TWA since only active pilots have standing in your opinion?
Where is the merit in your suit now?
Your time at TWA should count for nothing as should...
Oh boy Capt. Cornball, you really got me with that one, quick on the comebacks, very witty. I can hear you giggling with excitement now....Tell me, do you find your crew always ditches you on a layover?
Hmmmm, I wonder?
