Right, but the point I'm trying to make is that they are similar and therefore the same pay rate is justified. Along those lines I could see bringing the 73 and baby bus to the same pay rate....the higher of the two of course!! :D

While I disagree with the housing afforded to them I do know first hand how much time and effort goes into being part of the union. I feel it is fair to reimburse for expenses such as mileage and food for "union work"...

I don't have the numbers but I'm willing to bet you that DAL-N is or will be just as or more overstaffed then DAL-S. 747-200 pilots and all of your instructor pilots are looking for equipment to fly!
