According to a burst email just now, SWAPA negotiators have reached an AIP with the company. The board will meet to discuss, and language is being finalized into a TA. No details released as of yet.

Finally.....something I can vote no on.

Hope the BOD has the intestinal fortitude to say no and send it back. Not expecting much though, NOC resignations speak loudly and the smartest man in the room remaining is there to tell you so. The word irony springs into my mind.

Prediction?

Close vote to send it to the membership with 50% of BOD supporting. HANDILY turned down by the membership.

Should not even make it to the membership for a vote. No confidence in the NC. No confidence in BOD. Latest announcement booking our distressed passengers on Jet Blue announced with no prior coordination. Section one shot across the bow from management. Stupid or briliiant plan by the company but swap and is caught with their pants down.

I don't know what's in it, nor do I care. Given the opportunity I'm voting NO

This sounds SO MUCH like FAT PILOTS when the first integration agreement came out. "Say NO, now." Everyone is jumping to conclusions when very few have actually seen the proposal.

To the OSW guys...I thought the first deal was ALWAYS the best???

If it is what I heard, it is not too bad concerning pay/benefits. No Section 1 info was given though.

Good Luck to us all.

Nothing to integrate.... Sell tickets to destinations then cancel the flights and rebook pax on JetBlue to Caribbean destination and further points south. Split proceeds with JB and reroute SWA aircraft on other routes..... Heck.... We can become the largest domestic carrier in the U.S. To feed JB! Of course PJ puts out a well timed video release from SWAPA HQ after he finds out about pseudo code share interlink agreement it but says nothing. I wonder what job is waiting for him in the GO

GK doesn't seem to worried. I mean, he just walked all over sec 1, and he's so confident that he doesn't even bother to hide it until after the vote.

We have so little leverage that GK and company aren't even trying to hide what they're doing.

They're openly walking all over our section 1 protection right now. We can vote yes on this AIP and get a few crumbs in return while we watch our flying go away.

Or we can vote it down, replace some people, and spend another year or two reorganizing and catching up before we even have another AIP to consider. And the company will continue shredding section 1 the whole time.

GK wins either way.

Meanwhile, guys are fighting over how big a share of the signing bonus they will personally get if they pass this fiasco of a TA.

What sort of scope violations are they engaging in?
