Huge payraises for all!!!

Except for the RSW guys...

Except for the RSW guys that got the immediate upgrade as per the "captured" (re-SC) Airtran captain seats.

Fixed it for ya

Airtran mins circa 2006/7:

Qualifications
  • Fixed wing flight time - 2500 hours
  • Multi-engine, fixed wing flight time - 1000 hours
  • 121 PIC or military equivalent - 500 hours
  • An ATP certificate, or successful completion of the ATP written exam
  • Current First Class Medical certificate
  • Valid passport
  • Legally eligible for employment in the United States
  • Free of felony convictions within the most recent 10 years
Notice nothing about that college degree thing

AirTran never required a college degree, although it was preferred and few got hired without it. Towards the end when the computer was selecting people for interviews, I don't believe you could get called without it, because too many points were assigned for it.

You don't mean the 717 Captain seats that never came over, do you? Yeah, that was awesome.

No, the 737 captain seats that DID come over. I guess Gary's decision to park 32 revenue producing jets in the desert had something to do with SWAPA's insistence on capturing ALL captain seats, instead of allowing them to keep flying with Real Airtran Captains. The point of the thread is that pinhead Redklown's insistence that all Real Airtran guys got a payraise-it just isn't true no matter how many times he repeats it to himself. W-2's don't lie. It's also true that although not all the Airtran aircraft came over, a bunch did-resulting in immediate upgrades of captured Captain seats as promised to you by SC. These are simple facts no matter how he or you try to spin it. The good news is ALL upgrades from now to the foreseeable future are going to be Real Airtran guys, as it should be. One luv, brutha

I went from $178./hr to $155./hr

Anyone that doesn't get that- doesn't want to get it.

Not bitching, just stating the facts.

I also lost my on-line commute, and get to spend a couple of more days each month in a commuter hotel.

Not b!tching, just stating the facts.

What did we get? A more financially secure company, a better work environment, sort of like AirTran was around 2003, when the Contract had amendable for 2 years.

Hard to say for sure which way this one will go.

When do you upgrade Ty? $218/hr is right around the corner maybe..

178/hr at AirTran? You know that starting point was altered right? The original number was $152/hr.

I won't upgrade ONE day earlier with this deal. The only guys that did well on the agreement were the guys who upgraded. Maybe 600 guys out of 6300?
