Speaking of leather jackets. I have a black Perrone from a Pt135 outfit I flew with for a while. It has their name embroidered on the left chest. Any chance this thing could be modified to make it work for SWA?

Phred

I'm not trying to throw stones here, but I think the SWA leather jacket looks to members only. The whole elastic band thing in the back looks just cheap.

Dude

We seriously need to update the leather jacket

Useless to most of us except for that handful of mdw walk arounds when it's -10 out.

And talk about your '90's retro V backed look

C'mon- how on earth do we fu<k up the leather jacket?
Update the style- with a liner so it can be worn in the 60* weather without sweating balls

FWIW, my first one had a non removable thinsulate liner in it, and it was unusable except when walking to the crash pad in MDW and a few walkarounds. My current one has a removable thinsulate liner that I removed before I even tried it on the first time, and it hasn't been in there since. I typically don't wear it in 60* weather though, but I wouldn't wear the blazer then either.

Little extra liner in the belly trip? ;)
Ok then 50* days

Couldn't agree more- the back of our jacket is embarrassingly bad- elastic bit especially and the Piccard Star Trek V

Awful

Pretty sure you could get away with that. Wearing a brown one might be more fun just for the reactions. I'm a windbreaker guy...hate carrying around the black leather one unless it is no sh!t freezing outside...that thing weighs a ton!

Thanks. I hear you about dragging the leather one around. It spends more time draped over my bag than on. Comes in handy on MSP preflights in the winter though.

I'll prob just stick with an old black fleece to piss off SWA717.

Old black Nf fleece is always in my bag this time of year when it can go either way
Never heard a word about it

I think I know the look you are trying to create here, but to really "own" it, you'll need to add some pleated-front pants that are stretched to the point where there are no longer any pleats.

You could also "accessorize", with a super-sized drink cup from O'Charley's in one hand, and a bag from 5 Guys (or Popeye's) in the other.

When you are strutting your new look on the Concourse, remember to turn your feet in or out slightly; a pigeon-toed or splay-footed walk will work equally well with this look.

The final touch is the tie with grease stains. :)

I'm tired of you referencing PCL with this kind of sarcasm Ty. You've been warned how many times? Disgusting.

PM sent.
