Current things going on, QOL, how many airframes are they saying or projecting to get if they stay with the current plan? Are new hires initially getting ACY then can bid out in how long? I know questions are kinda scattered but any present info you know would be appreciated and thank you for taking your time to answer anything you can.

QOL is still very good due to our four days minimum off between work blocks, no PBS, vacation trip touching and industry leading transition language.

143 aircraft by year end 2021 is the current fleet plan.

Newhires have been getting DTW and FLL more so than ACY these days.

It sure is. It'll probably stay in the 2.5 - 3 year range for the next 12 months before beginning a gradual creep upwards. Unless some more aircraft are unexpectedly added.

or if we decide not to park the 319s starting 2016
-3 in 2016
-4 in 2017
-5 in 2018
etc
etc

Had been pondering employment with Spirit, but not very much knowledge with the 121 side of aviation, I have 3 questions for those that are among the ranks in NKS, or anyone who knows what the dynamics are:

What kind of background do "New Hires" have, is it an equal mix between 121/135/91 or predominantly one vs the others?

Pilots with consistent 135 experience (PIC, CKAMN, CP, DO) are they valued for interview as much as candidates with 121 experience?

Is DFW still a fairly Jr. base, in other terms is it easy to obtain for a new hire?

Thank you!

I want to know is it still pretty much a requirement to know someone and/or attend a job fair to get an interview?

Yes to leave this place. You are an idiot. Do not PM me, or reference me in your posts. I am not here for your hate.

oh, and the past is the past. I voted yes for my reasons, and if you want to talk about it, find me in the crew room and we will talk about it. But you are too much of a web board idiot to do that-you are too scared to state your opinions in real life, but will on these boards. We were in bankruptcy, they would have given us what they wanted, as the law is on their side. I voted to leave in two years, not one year (as would have been the case if I voted yes along with everyone else).

Go to school and get an education before you try and using letters to insult me. I am sure you talk about the same as your grammar. Which would be just as annoying. On second thought, don't try and talk to me in the crew room.
