I want to know is it still pretty much a requirement to know someone and/or attend a job fair to get an interview?

Yes to leave this place. You are an idiot. Do not PM me, or reference me in your posts. I am not here for your hate.

oh, and the past is the past. I voted yes for my reasons, and if you want to talk about it, find me in the crew room and we will talk about it. But you are too much of a web board idiot to do that-you are too scared to state your opinions in real life, but will on these boards. We were in bankruptcy, they would have given us what they wanted, as the law is on their side. I voted to leave in two years, not one year (as would have been the case if I voted yes along with everyone else).

Go to school and get an education before you try and using letters to insult me. I am sure you talk about the same as your grammar. Which would be just as annoying. On second thought, don't try and talk to me in the crew room.

Blah blah blah blah..... Blah blah...
Same ole sh!t. Why would anyone hire you? To lower the bar at another airline ? Spare me.

Funny, I asked because thats what I heard as of a few months ago. Thats why I asked, has it changed? You must work there, were you or someone else cold called for an interview with no job fair attendance or internal recs? Thats why the ******************** I asked. Dumbass

They don't hire yes voters. They don't want spineless scabs on their seniority list.

I had two friends get cold called for interviews. One was hired, one was not. Both were RJ CAs with probably over 8,000 TPIC.....

It seems the majority of hires went to a job fair and had an internal rec.
there are some who did/had neither yhough

There are two ways to get hired at Spirit Airlines.

  1. Attend a job fair.
  2. Have current Spirit pilots talk to HR and recommend you for a position.
The majority of pilots hired come from the job fair.

Option 2 doesn't work as well as it used to. Go with option 1.

I've optioned 1, three times and filled out long app. It's all a crap shoot now seems like unless you have 10,000 hours in the shuttle…
