The story of Shares sinking needs similar investigation. By the way head to the lifeboats. You will know them by a distinctive red stripe down the middle.

What in the heh are you talking about???? UAL asked for some loan guarantees but was denied.
Where did 3.8 Billion of TAXPAYER money get spent on UAL. Too many confuse BK law with gov bailout, which is easy to do after GM and AIG which DID get taxpayer money.... but only a few smaller 121 carriers ever got ATSB (Air transport stabilization board) loan guarantees and most of them paid them back. None of the big boys received any loan guarantees.

Heard a rumor that the cj3 pilots may be furloughed out of seniority. Any truth. Sounds like bubba is gonna be ok.

Normally, one would think that the pilot group would not stand for this....union or no union. Problem is, however, this pilot group will throw whomever they have to into the piranha pool to save their own narrow ass. Guys like HG, SS, JG, KF, etc can't wait to shave Phildo's sack so that there's no chaffing when they do that voodoo that they do so well.

Seems that other shenanigans may afoot. Stinky foot, that is.

^^ since that doesnt mention CA, there are more furloughs on the horizon as they try to reach their final numbers by years end. Expect to see another 25-30 let go in 2-3 months..
 
My understanding, we have 4 potential purchasers. two of which would be better for the existing employees. the other two would result in just about everyone hitting the street. Employees will have to reinterview for their positions. Since we would be fired and rehired, union would be a non issue. if the above doesn't occur, we have about 18 miserable months left, so keep looking.

care to flesh this rumor out a bit more? How exactly would firing all eliminate the union? They would have to liquidate the company completely and restart a new corporate entity for the Union to be out of the picture. Pretty expensive move just to eliminate collective bargaining.
