So let us have all the island flying???? Dude are u flying on the cal side right now? You seem to be so anti-cal and so pro ual. So why the f..k did u come and lower yourself to fly with all us scabs. I mean seriously, just quit and wait for your real recall. When we first annouced we were going to bring you guys on I was really happy, honestly. But now seeing guys like you I wish we would have just hired off the street,.at least they would be grateful.

I am on the CAL side and enjoying it - great crews and FAs - it has been a blast. Since the same characters like to stir the pot - they need to understand anybody can come on here and stir the pot :)

I am anti-scab not anti CAL. SLI won't affect me one bit - junior is junior.

Why did I come here ?! For the cool embroidered wings of course !!

It's already hitting the commuters. Recently the CEO of one of our regionals complained to our CEO, "what are we going to do about this pilot shortage?" Our CEO's response was, "We recently had 12,000 qualified applicants for 100 postions, we don't have a pilot shortage, you do." Our CEO has said though that he is concerned about the shortage at commuters, because it could eventually hit the majors.

When the regionals are cnx'ing flights that affect the mainline carriers passengers because 1) Their pilots are going to the legacies and 2) They can't find enough pilots to fill classes, it's going to the legacy's problem.

But all those RJ's are a very big part of the legacy networks and business models. If the regionals have a problem the majors have a problem too because RJ's are moving many of their customers. Hopefully they run out of bodies, it will be good for all of us because the only option becomes more large planes flown at the major airline level where the available pilots can be attracted and retained. If there really is a serious tightening of the pilot supply it might not make sense to utilize the available crews to fly anything less that 140 or so seats.

We can dream anyway, none of us will believe it until we see it :)

I was hoping it was for the hat!

You guys crack me up. In the end, the arbitrator will decide and there will be a whole bunch of pissed off pilots and a handful of happy ones. End of story!
We're just gonna have to live with it. Period. In the end, all I want to do is max my pay and max my days off and quality of life. I could give a ******************** about who bought who and who brings more to the table, etc.. Can't do anything about that so make the most of what we got. Done.
