Dumbest thing I've ever seen you write. You might want to think about that one my friend.

Clearly you don't realize we are very much equals. Look no further than the point we are at right now. This didn't turn out like Frontier. Or even close to what you guys had envisioned perpetrating onto America West or USAir.

In many ways, we've already won. We have managed to drag, kicking and screaming, the elitest brain surgeons into thier worst nightmare: A fair deal.

The words of insecurity. Look at the fleets, look at the ratio of WB to NB. But you know maybe I am all wrong. We will find out in August won't we.

What fair deal has been reached. You looking in your crystal ball again?? Go sell stocks or better yet give me tips.

How many guppies did UAL have in 2008? 2010? Something had to happen for the merger to take place and no it wasn't RJ's. It's outrageous that CAL would have bids Captain bids that go to 2006 hires. It's going to be fun in the cockpit for decades.

Well said.

In my opinion the wb to nb doesn't really matter since our nb guys were making as much or more than your wb guys, so to me our pilot group was making more, upgrading sooner, and therefore had a lot higher career expectations.... My guess is relative seniority +\- 1%, But that is just my opinion wich really doesn't mean crap.... I just hope we can get this done and move on to overthrow the evil jeffy together

It's also outrageous that sUAL pilots would be so bold as to think that new aircraft deliveries and CA seats for aircraft ordered 3-5 years ago would be theirs. Before the merger sUAL was the continually shrinking airline and the only reason it stopped was the merger. Now you want to take another airlines' flying/CA seats because you have some alternate reality, crack-pot theory about why you were shrinking. The only reason the sUAL pilots are not being labeled scabs for this is because the CAL MEC and our POS C02 would not allow you to do it. If this merger did not happen, you would still be shrinking and skywest would be flying 90-100 seat aircraft for UAL.

When the SLI doesn't go your way, are you going to follow the same road the USAir pilots took?

You can't put us on the street like Frontier. Let's not lie to each other, that's what you really want.

You'd still have guppies if it weren't for big RJs. And if you still had guppies your own 05 hires would be flying them, might even be captains. Remember, those big RJs weren't ours. An arbitrator specifically ruled they weren't ours; They violated our contract.

When the SLI doesn't go your way, are you going to follow the same road the USAir pilots took?

No matter the representation, what these arbitrators rule, that's the list. Agreed to in the T&PA.

How many guppies did UAL have in 1999? The fact is this new United airlines is not much bigger than the UAL of 1999.

UAL, no, make that ALL major airlines have been downsizing for years, while the regionals have grown.

I guess if you repeat something over and over you will believe it.

You're an Eastie, right? Man, you'd be singing a different tune if UAL had got a hold of you back 14-15 years ago. Did you not see the scheme UAL ALPA had put together to screw the hell out of you guys? Do you not remember the UAL MEC chair being quoted "This is a purchase, not a merger"?

What steps are we taking to improve the performance of
the 747 fleet?

We recognize that the reliability of the 747 fleet is not
where we want it to be. Long term, we’d like to replace
them with more fuel-efficient aircraft, but doing so takes a long
time and is subject to aircraft availability. To address the reliability
in the short term, we are putting our 747s through a preventative
maintenance line where we are going to invest a lot of
money to address chronic issues with the fleet. Additionally, we
will consolidate the fleet’s operation at our San Francisco hub
so we will have more flexibility to recover from service events
and be able to capitalize on our maintenance infrastructure in
SFO. Additionally, we are investing in the onboard product on
our 747s by adding WiFi and streaming video throughout the
aircraft, and in-seat power in the coach cabin.

L-UAL fleet is in need of some desperate care! I wonder how many wide body aircraft would of left the fleet if it wasn't for the merger with Continental?
