No growth?
jetBlue aircraft.......
2004 69
2005 92
2006 119
2007 134
2008 142
2009 151
2010 160
2011 169
2012 180
2013 9 sched. for delivery
2014 11
2015 17

No way JetBlue gets 17 airplanes in 2015 unless many are given back as leases expire. You can count on that. JetBlue has a long history of selling airplanes. I believe 4 are expected to be returned in 2013. Some, none, or all may be returned. I want to see scheduled lease returns and net deliveries. Pilot Retirements or lack there of are a real issue for a new hire or anyone below seniority number 1000.

You're a no voter, we get it. The problems you talk of have been fixed through the collective bargaining process at other carriers.. Ask yourself, DL, HA, and UAL now have better pay rates and benefits. Alaska is in contract negotiations and already have better benefits. What do all these carriers have in common? How did they improve their pay and benefits?

So you can't read then?

Actually 2013 will likely be 13-14 aircraft. Net growth.

Since you brought up JB's "long history", look at our "history" of fleet growth last year, the year before, the year before..... Those numbers are net growth. You are lieing, again. We have sold and returned some, but it has almost always resulted in significant net fleet growth, as history proves.

You're an alarmist, with an agenda. You do NOT care about the career choices of others as much as you pretend. You are NOT trying to save others from a questionable career decision. You don't care that much about what some regional jet jockey does with his life. This is a starve JB of new applicants/hires strategy and an attemp to embarrass JB pilots into voting what you want.

The VAST majoriity of guys I fly with are very happy here. That doesn't mean they don't want improvements and many are willing to vote union, but they are happy still.

You are full of &&&&.

I can, and I can between the lines. Let me guess, you will vote for a in house right but not ALPA?

I personally would vote for either. I think ALPA would be a better resource at this stage of our company and would spin up faster and smoother.

My one requirement is that we keep the silo system of representation because I have been sold down the river by senior folks too many times to count.

Okay good. Glad to have you on board. I think the silo system is a no brainer but details like that will be determined after they on the property. I think modeling our union after FedEx is the way to go.

Beach, we see eye to eye on a lot but we are growing. Also, there was a big market for used Airbuses in the late 2000's, and now with the announcement of the NEO we couldn't give away airplanes like Christine if we wanted to. As for 17 planes in 2015, I thought we were deferring some e190 deliveries that year, so I do think thats high. I expect 10-12 frames a year indefinitely, not mind blowing but not a snails pace either.

Splert, stop spreading lies. "Juicer 1" doesn't even work at Jetblue, and his statements were in regards to VX. I even clarified that to you, yet you continue with it unacknowledged.

Fuchtard.

What is this?

Got it! Lots of arrows flying around did not realize that one was shot from the bleachers. I agree with your last sentence. Living in base is a lot different than commuting to JFK and sitting reserve with the hope of moving onto another gig in the future. Hope it works out for everyone in this wacky industry.
