Really? Really? My bag weighs 30+lbs. I thought installing the bricks were supposed to reduce our Jepp plates. I have 3 Jepp Binders that are about to explode. How about the Ipad or something.

Food for thought. Getting rid of the flight bags would save 60lbs of weight on the aircraft. Lets say that saves $1 of fuel on any given flight. According to RGT, ExpressJet flys 1 million flights in 14 months. That's a million bucks saved every 14 months. That would pay for the ipad and then some.

Procedures for Dropping Deuce CR2, CR7/9, ( ATL CREWS ONLY)

In the event that you eat food and need to drop a deuce... there is a bathroom near the crew lounge. In the event that you cannot locate the company provided bathroom, you are permitted to use a Chief Pilots hat. In the event there is no Chief pilot on duty please proceed to nearest suitable terminal for passenger restroom. Please make sure you display your SIDA while in any non company provided bathrooms

Just do it the "company approved way" and if you get hurt doing it that way mention on the claim application that you got hurt lifting the flight bag using the "company approved way" and your claim will not get denied.

Just be very careful and see your own specialist. In the olden times there were instances where crew were sent to a "clinic" near the airport for an "exam" of sorts that gave very "encouraging" news about the return-to-work timeline.
