I understand the argument if this was 10 years ago, but most of the people bitching about Gojets were not even there when TSA was in negotiations.
Regionals are stepping stones to something bigger and better, get in get your time and get out, no sense bickering about which bottom feeder regional is worse than the other. They all suck, just have fun, fly the airplane and get a new job as soon as you have the time.

Oh. I guess if you put it that way then it's ok to create an alter ego airline and screw people out of job/pay.
It was the TSA pilots that make the profits for hulas to start go j..... Anyway.
A go jets pilot owes their income to TSA pilots.

So much wrong with this.
Of course it is OK for someone to start any company they like, if TSA pilots were that concerned about other peoples jobs why would they agree to fly American Eagle and cost some pilots their jobs?
All regional jobs are contract work, once you realize that as a regional pilot you will be a lot happier.

TSA pilots don't choose when and for who they fly. But you certainly have a choice to fly at GoJets or not.

If you haven't noticed... times are tough. Maybe taking a job a go jets is not somebody's first choice but it is still a job. My first airline was the bottom of all bottoms but guess what? It got me the experience to land a job at a very good company. Should I have just stayed at my pay nothing part time job waiting for a good airline to call me back? I think not.

Well good luck getting on my Jumpseat.
I'm the last person who is gonna help you get to work so you can Take my airplanes and fly them for cheaper.

Good thing my commute to work only involves being in my car for ten minutes then. By the way... I do not nor have I ever worked at go jet, just raised a valid point about people needing jobs to feed their families.

We all have to look in the mirror sometimes. If you went to GoJets when it started then you have to live with that. If you go now then I'm sure it doesn't bother you because it's just another regional now. I remember seeing people leave regionals for GoJets when it started and I'm sure it helped their career. I could have done the same but I'd have that same problem with the mirror every day. No thanks.

That's odd. When I was there (Nov '05) all I saw were TSA pilots, TWA pilots (AA furloughs), Chicago Express pilots, Indy Air pilots and some from Corporate Air. Then later I saw United pilots (furloughs), Aloha pilots, Midwest pilots, ATA pilots. Then I started seeing low time CFI's. Then I left. I only saw one guy come from another regional that wasn't furloughed. I did see some from Mesa when they furloughed. Your information is wrong. I was there and saw it first hand.

A couple of guys left from Eagle for the upgrade. I assumed it was system wide for all regionals. Maybe it wasn't.

Some people would eat their young for a job, while others take a job to feed their young. It's always going to be like this, whether it's right or wrong for t he industry.
