So I ran into two Avantair pilots I have flown with during my 5 years at Avantair today in MRY. They made it sound like the company was a sinking ship that would run out of money for operations this year... Any truth to this?!

You give dates and airports in your post. You could be getting your 'friends' fired or at least exposed to management. Maybe you should engage your brain before you post.

Getting fired is never a good thing. You may recover, but explaining it at your next interview isn't going to be fun.

Hard to fund a lawsuit when you're hitting the savings acc't to put food on the table. Also, what are Florida's laws on the matter? I believe an employer can do what they want down there.

Obviously, based on your post, fear is running rampant. Since your companies' stock is circling the bowl, I'm surprised guys like you are guzzling the kool-aid like this. Sounds like a great place to work you've got there.
