Frickin new guy, or another GL alter-ego.

I always love how the loudest aholes never list where THEY work, embarrassed? What is the name of that awesome airline that you are employed again?

Not quite Sherlock!
And thanks for your opinion. Ever notice how the biggest chicken ********************s are the ones calling someone an ahole from behind their computer?
Scoot.
Can't understand why so many pay for training trolls from Southwest are interested in what goes on at Delta.

The -200 type is what most people buy because it is the cheapest and meets the requirement. Higher Power is a popular facility that gets you through the program quickly. When SWA had -200s (mostly -200s), getting a 737 type in a -200 made sense and I believe initial training was quite a bit shorter than it is now. SWA is going to be a NG and Max fleet. That rating is not very helpful. It is a waste of time and money as far as I am concerned. If SWA was hiring street Captains, it might make sense. But the type requirement lost any real meaning 20 years ago.

When did they split the type? Mine just says B737 on it. Flown classics and NGs...

Because you've been outsourcing avaition jobs since 1992?

Just a wild guess.

It's getting harder to keep up with you trolls on every DL thread. Don't you have a second job to help pay for that job you bought, junior?
BTW, Isn't it nice to know that every single AT pilot did NOT have to buy theirs!:smash:

Not true if any the the ole VJ guys are still around they paid FSI 10K for a DC-9 type as part of getting hired. I had my money in hand and had an interview all set up, then they crashed

In order to find his equal, a Southwest Pilot is forced to talk to God. Yes, Father? The Almighty says 'Don't change the subject, just answer the f***ing question.'

WHERE DO YOU WORK?

Then thou hast already committed PFT in thy heart. :p

It's MY! island!

I would not want to be the union that represents a group where 4 out of 10 members are not in sync with the leadership. Watch for some local recall efforts. The next 3 years will be a leadership nightmare on a divided MEC.

I voted No, but for the fine print in many parts. I have not supported DPA in any way shape and form.

As for Recalls, 1/3 of the rep seats need to be elected starting in Aug. Be surprised to see a recall that would pass muster in these bases; ATL, SLC, DTW.

As for the vote, frankly, more pro DPA supporters I know voted "yes" so they could get their pay and then sling it out for the next few years for DPA. Ain't going to work though. Most of the "no" voters I know voted on the merits of the TA. If anyone is trying to make this about pro ALPA, or Anti DALPA admin, you are mistaken and being disingenuous.

There was talk about process issues, so we will see where that goes.
