... Thats the best part time job I've ever had. That also includes training events. In case your wondering, thats 208 days off.

I am not sure why that's so unusual, I was mid seniority at XJT and the WORST line I got all year had 14 days off, giving on average 16-17 days off after line improvement. Had 25 days off in vacation months (paid for 75h hours). That's 220 days off NOT including sick days and INCLUDING days that i picked up for 200% pay. Still credited over 1000 hours pay in the year.

Has the ASA MEC produced any information/studies AT ALL about the system that XJT has or about any other PBS system for that matter?

No and they won't either. They prefer back room tactics and no communication. After all.....they know whats REALLY best for the pilot group.

Oh, and be assured they'll get a little bonus to sell it to us. Maybe 8 hours per day for "union business"

XJT MEC can't take over fast enough as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for putting your info on here but not only no to a globalized system but hell no man, seriously lets not reinvent the wheel on the JCBA. PBS is a small part espically since we have one of the top PBS systems, not the best but why not improve ours and work on other areas other than blow everything on this dumb azz PBS fight

+1.

What do these guys have against the seniority system? I thought they didn't even want PBS. Now they want it, but they want a new system that nobody else uses that is globalized. What the heck are they smoking?

What topic? Each of you crying about wanting or not wanting pbs? can you answer the question or not? If you would like a pbs question also then what percent were on reserve before pbs compared to after?

thank you. Just trying to get real info compared to people thinking they know. I dont have your contract so i cant compare

i will let the select four or five argue all day about PBS. I would like to compare the other 400 pages and see how we can make the rest of the contract better.
