No five year pilot at QX making close to $120.

Any pilot making close to $120/hr has been there well over 15 years.

That 15+yr pilot who chooses to leave QX for a legacy carrier may not see $120 for another 15-20 years - even longer if ALPA keeps giving up scope and allowing the outsourcing of more jobs to the regionals.

If QX ever goes belly up, like ATA, Aloha, Midwest, etc. they will be lucky to get a job paying $20/hr.

Once again Fubi, if you want to compare pay rates, you need to look at seat AND longevity. By only using one or the other, you can weave a story any way you want. It is called 'half truth' and is used by weak minded people who can't really present an argument on merits.

In other words, they're flying the A320 for turboprop pay. Yet they don't think that has an effect on our wages.

You're quoting a 4th year Captain pay at Virgin America, and that's what a 4th year Captain makes there. However, there are no 4 year Captains at Horizon. In fact, Horizon is a very senior company with slow movement, and I believe their most junior Captain has 10 years in. Not exactly a fair comparison, as NEdude said, you need to compare seat and longevity.

Pricing by internet fares forces a race to the bottom. Airlines can only compete by offering less and less. Therefore, there will always be turnover as the profession continues to decline in interest.

Also don't forget that JB gets time and a half after 75 hours. So hour 75.1-90 is paid at $132/ hour. So a 90 hour month is actually closer to $95/hr. Plus the $13/hr for night flying and extra pay for flag operations.
