Wow! I am surprised by the responses! Good luck to all the Republic Pilots! I know a few that work there... Pay is terrible along with the contract!!! A bunch of room for improvement! Good Luck....

They should have thought of that before they voted in their contract. Instead they were just thinking about how they could undercut Comair and win some flying.....

We can battle over history all day. Comair was a low paying PFT airline 11 years ago. Or did you not realize that?

I think they're the last regional airline to strike, too. About 10 years ago. Look where that got them.

So what you're saying is stay low pay and undercut all the others to keep flying or Strike get a new contract and eventually get burned down the road. Yep, thats usually what happens so welcome to the regional airline business model! But Republic needs to get a better contract. They are flying mainline type aircraft at below most regionals pay. If they strike and shut it down, so what! They can feel good knowing that a hiring boom is right around the corner.

Amen, Brother!!! I don't think it will come to an actual strike, though. Comair, only flew for Delta if I'm not mistaken? Republic flies for way too many airlines to have everything shut down.
