G4 pays 35,500K to start and no defined pay scale, all merit based. Pass.

Is 35,500 enough to live in LAS? I worked for a carrier that was merit based and I was not too happy with the pay. I would rather have a structured pay scale, merit based is ok if the person that is giving you the raise likes you

Let's see, that is about $18K/year net after taxes and rent. That leaves $350/week before food, utilities, health insurance, credit cards, gasoline, entertainment and car payments are considered.

It can be done in Vegas, but with a hermit lifestyle for awhile.

I interviewed with them about 8 months ago...Nice operation, but clearly over their heads with the "planned" operations. They bought five 757's planning to do ETOPS 180 over to HI. I got interviewed, because I had ETOPS experience. When they announced that with experience, the most they could pay would be....$33000/yr, I said....No Thanks! Turns out their ETOPS program is delayed until 3Q12 courtesy of FAA.
