So an email was just sent saying 1700 tomorrow afternoon is the new timeline. What a joke. Why do they even set a timeline?

Even more pathetic than I ever imagined....

-Paying attention XJET? Welcome to the SH!T...

Karen Henry now says 1700 on the 22nd. Anybody else anoyed by this bs?

ka

"Annoyed" was applicable maybe 7 months ago, it's way beyond that now. I would just like to know when there will be an end to this crap and what it will take for the Company to be held accountable and not given a free pass every time they pull this garbage.

I don't mean to poke but what exactly is a practical solution to a 24 hour violation of the schedule posting timeline? I get that it is a violation but what are you saying they should compensate us with? 1 day earlier the following month maybe....!?!

Yes. Please. No more of this BS union waiver crap.

Big Picture Time:

A union which is running scared from a company which hates its employees=We are all screwed.

-Why the hell we ever fell for this lame-ass crap, I will never understand. PBS is the worst thing to ever happen here.

Karin said the 22nd as outlined by the ALPA email. What ALPA email? Dare I guess it will be out 2 hours after the company email?

Somebody called that in a post above. Are they clairvoyant? Nah, just worked here long enough to know how things work.

This is EXACTLY why I didn't want PBS here. We ALL knew it was going to be a cluster.

Here's the e-mail dated 1/14:

Bidding for CRJ-700 and IAD pilots will close on Saturday, January 15 at 1700 EST. Please make sure you have your bids submitted before that time. Just so you are aware, we did evaluate the pairings in both of these crew classes and found the pairings were acceptable. Pairings in IAD actually were rerun while bidding was taking place. The new pairings were higher in credit but less commutable overall. The pairings showing incorrect duty-in times and wrong hotels displayed will be corrected after the awards come out. Had these errors been corrected while bids were being submitted, IAD pilots would have to completely rebid.
CRJ-200 pilots, thank you for your patience. Members of our PBS Pairings Subcommittee have been working with the Company all day today (Friday), running pairings for the better overall solution. Plans are to have the bids open on Saturday, January 15 by 1700 EST. The bids will remain open until at least 1300 EST on Wednesday, January 19. We anticipate the final results will be published around January 22. We’ll pass on additional information when it’s available.
