Their was a letter in the USA Today last month saying the same thing. This problem has been in the public long before that. I was beginning to think it would take a terrorist act to get peoples attention.
I for one am tired of asking nicely why pilots are screened and no one else is, the boat needed to be rocked.

I absolutely agree. As a matter of fact why are flight crews going through security anyway. Yes an ID might be fake but any ID can be faked and it boils down to the premise that if your that scared of life and it's unknowns maybe you should just hide under your bed and never risk the big bad world.

Assuming you are an airline pilot and not on winter break from high school or your community college you will understand that we pass through security on a weekly basis and thus might see potential lapses. But guess what genius, not everyone in the flying public knows about security issues at the airport but thanks to al-qaeda useful idiots like that guy they sure might know them now.

We are concerned that the Carnies have security issues that our inept TSA is allowing. We are concerned that they are wasting time with us and a pilot (who has done more for his country than sit at a computer like you) has thrown it out there in a completely legal manner. Lets dive into that ""completely legal manner". Have you backed down from your initial crazy statement that this is in any way like Julian Assange? Was that just a leftist "mud thrown on the wall to see what sticks? Facts: 1. The pilot recorded in a public place. 2. The pilot verified the fact that Carnies are allowed no security on a day to day basis. That same fact has been discussed on numerous tv, radio, and blog sites. I guess your look alike J. Napalitano needs to roll in on all of those places in fairness. The completely legal manner does not preclude Janet Napalatano from using the forces at her disposal to intimidate individuals using your and my.......well probably MY tax money because you are probably a non pilot welfare recipient Obama supporter, Anyway, she can threaten anyone she wants with a mountain of legal debt even if what he is doing is legal. The pilot is showing how inept the TSA to put the spotlight on areas that need to be fixed because.....they have not been fixed for 9+ years!!! Al Qaeda does not know about these things? Hah!
