I had 5 days of vac carry into the month and bid max time off. I was awarded a line with 21 days off for the month and only work 2 four day trips and 1 loft. I barely hold a line as it is now so was very happy with how this bid turned out.

I believe the op is referring to the original award, from sept. the results from the latest experiment have not been released yet..

I agree it's going to take a few months to figure out. alot of upset people flying crap skeds for ahwile.

I dont see the award on FLICA, is this for the one that closed yesterday?

FLICA says not published.

No it's the one we did back in sept I think. It's on flica under Bidding, pilot practice bid pbs, septermber.
I'm sure what "Scott Hall" haha said is possible that is why I asked the question because looking at the award it looks like 18-20 days off in a 7 day vacation month are gone for most of the group.

But how many in a row if you don't mind.

I have vacation as well and ended up a lot better with the pbs bid than I did with line biddings.

Same here. Vacation starting the 27th, last trip finishing the 19th. Same days off as I got with line bidding but with more total credit. You have to remember to select the vacation option when bidding.

I voted NO!

Well thnx for playing.

I voted yes for a number of reasons, but after this bid my schedule is almost the exact same kind of schedule I'd get with line bidding... to the people complaining, learn the system. For the rest of us "youngins" we'll take advantage of great schedules while the old fogies catch up and figure the system out.

Change is coming, either embrace it or fear it but it's to your benefit to embrace it, find the loopholes, find the advantages and work with it. A little late to have remorse, regret, or want to do anything about it. Why complain at this point? If this isn't working out, find another job! DAL, JB, Virgin and others are hiring and I'd like your seat and seniority number.

HAHA yes this is true.. it wont take long though, I hope. Might be a good niche market ie: 100 bucks to set up your pref's.. if not you get a sucky sked.

20 days off. 2 4 days with weekends off along with a 2 day that carried in from the month prior. 75 hours credit with getting off on 16th of the month and off the rest of the month.

2 days off in between the four days but that is acceptable because that is the way I bid. If I had preferred to be awarded 3 days off in between I could have built the preferences to make that happen.
