imcompetent TacoHell graduates..

I always said that TSA staffing is made up of nothing more but BurgerKing and TacoHell graduates.. i mean really, what requirements are there for TSA agents- NONE. They even hire people with 'light criminal backgrounds.' When these imbeciles go on their power trips and we end up paying for it going thru security..

im sorry you had such bad experience..
i would get a lawyer on this one..

You had the right not to go through the security line, and you exercised it...good for you. Now you just have to deal with the consequences of your decisions. Sometimes when you take a stand things don't work you as you'd like and some times they do. Keep us posted of what happens...it's an interesting proposition.

4th Amendment:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Airport secruity is NOT an infringment of your rights. You need to do your research on this. When you put your bags on the belt and proceed through airport security you are SUBMITTING to screening.
If you have ever taken a law class or aviation law, you would know this.

Is this incident going to made into a TV move?

Hey, Pilotyip, you should have told the security person to take the handkercrief and blow her nose with it.

Dude quit causing trouble, we have grunt people just trying to do what they are told. This is the best we have right now to keep us alive. Who gives a shat, go through the scanner. You are barking up the wrong tree. If you really care talk to your congressman and write the TSA. Don't take it out on the airport workers, they didn't write the rules. As a pilot you should know that better than anyone.
I'm betting if you were on the Delta flight on Christmas you would feel different about the inconvenience. If it helps keep the people who are trying to kill everyone off our flights, giddy up. Go through the motions and quit causing trouble for the rest of us. Or you all can continue with your change the world, naive, childish rants.

TSA's purpose with uniformed crew members is not to find out if have anything illegal or dangerous, it is to find out if you are submissive to their authority.

If they think that you are not, the games begin.

I second!!

Ditto!!

I'm thinkin' you had a really crappy trip that you didn't want to commute to anyway and you were out of sick leave.

Get over yourself.

well, i am with you on this one....screening pilots is a joke and actually detracts from screening since it wastes time. since a pilot does need a weapon of any sort to cause damage, how do you screen the pilot? we know the tsa is a joke and the tsa knows we know they are a joke, so they like to harass us.

There are battles to fight, and then there are battles not worth fighting... TSA is one not worth fighting... Their rules change faster than a wardrobe line at a fashion show. Submit to their requests and go fly... You should see how they treat our customers let alone crewmembers.
