Here's my business analysis:

Republic sucks and so does 170/190 dbag pilot. You guys sure do keep that thing updated don't you, that way when you post on here we all cower in your awesomeness.

Have fun flying in your fantasy mainline aircraft. Many of us cannot wait to see you standing in the unemployment Line right behind every Midwest, Lynx, and soon to be Frontier pilot you have put out of work.

It's crazy! Our engines are mounted on our wings for Pete's sake! We should be making a bazillion dollars an hour. Oh wait. You say it has the same number of seats as other regional jets?........nevermind. Lol Kids.

Eagle and Comair have a lot in common; neither will survive on their own and they are out of dance partners. What about a mini UAL/CAL scenario brewing in the future?

even if this long shot came to be..no eagle FOs would be able to displace a single RAH Captain, regarldess of longevity.

So are you saying that a 3 year captain at RAH should always be senior to a 10 year Eagle FO if the two were to unlikely merge? How is that anywhere in the realm of fair? Perhaps they may be able to hold their CA seat, but any new CA vacancies would have to be given out based on strict DOH seniority, which would mean these 3 year kiddie CA's at RAH would be junior for 10 years!

Oh, and just in case Repukelick does buy Eagle, isn't the agreed upon merging of seniority lists between pilot groups of similar airlines a DOH merger? And unlike the AW and US merger, neither airline has anybody furloughed so it should be quite simple. The Eagle pilots are probably hoping this merger happens as over half of their FO's would become CA's and over half of RJET CA's become FO's. Or will they do what they did to the Midwest pilots and put them all out on the street, which I'm still scratching my head about as to not only the legality of it but the MORALITY of it!

Well said

That may be but they are still making better money doing that then your 190 drivers.

I do not, nor have I never flown for any Republic Airways Holdings airline.

I just like pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of a pilot whose group was among the very first to put immense downward wage pressure on their peers by flying larger airplanes for no increase in pay in blasting Republic pilots for their wages...set in a long-expired contract that went into effect in October 2003.

Steveair wants to compare RAH's 190 rates that were set in 2003 to JetBlue's rates set in 2009....but that's much more of an apples-to-oranges situation than a comparison of Comair's CRJ70 rates the day Skywest pilots started "70 seats for 50 pay".

"Lowering the bar" cuts both ways...

So, Frontier and Chataquah are under one list with the Republic pilots?

republic, shuttle america, chautauqua are already one list, frontier, midwest, and RAH groups going through merger process now, so yes, Frontier and Chautauqua will be on the same master list

come on in and buy us Eagle

average senority of a eagle pilot is 10 years, and that is for a F.O the average for a captain at Eagle is 18-20 years, so who is up for merging, anyone, anyone at all, please stand up. lets play

That might be interesting.

Actually, the average longevity of Eagle pilots is 10+ years.

Does longevity equal seniority? If you have longevity, then yes. If you have seniority, then no.

Either way, RAH is not going to buy Eagle, and the absurd comparison of longevity does nothing but fan the flames of FI.

Took my cousin 9.5 years to finally make captain last month.
