Skywest can easily pay 20-30% more and can be an actual leader of this industry, something that can put alpo and ibt to shame. Again that koolaide is just way too strong for now and the money keeps piling up in Utah.

That's interesting. Is the the money in Utah burning a hole in your pocket? I think they're saving their Benjamin's for if UAL doesn't make it, or just being fiscally responsible. They're not dummies in St George, so they're definitely looking at other opportunities, maybe even acquisitions. Their employees, all their employees, deserve more than their making now, but that really doesn't have anything to do with how much money is in their bank account.

Captain Oveur, if not Skywest, who is going to be the leader of this industry? Colgan? Commutair? If you don't make as much, it's very tough to convince a management to sign an industry leading contract. The pilots have had all this time to secure something.

Mesa sucks.

Tomorrow there are no IAD based SCRs available. Company is sending 5 (you read that right FIVE) TDYs up tomorrow morning to cover. They might as well give all IAD based pilots lines and just TDY reserves to cover sick calls

How are they getting people up there? I was told they weren't going to be allowed to deadhead people on Delta? That's a lot of positive space tickets...
