Don't bet on it

I know Kenn doesn't like unions, but I don't think he would want to be regarded as the Frank Lorenzo of the fractional world. Then how would he be able to come out with the sequel, management by trust part 2, the unions best steward.

Kenn is such a fraud that he can put a positive spin on anything. He would define sodomy as "simply following too close". Any pilot that accepts anything Kenn says, instead of a binding contract, deserves all the grief that will follow.

Theoretically possible, but extremely difficult to pull off. The FLOPs know the owners wouldn't wait while replacements were hired and the training bill would be huge. Not to mention, could they even find that many pilots willing to be forever branded a scab....:erm:

Managers frequently use the replacement threat to intimidate the workforce. My husband wouldn't let it stop him if he was an Options pilot and I don't see those guys caving after coming this far. NJW

yada yada yada---again!

I just blew lemonade out my nose! Serious though I agree, we can not accept anything less than a binding contract.

Hey, no trash talking the book.

It has been keeping my coffee table level for the last year. :)

Interesting use! In some cultures it's considered an insult to show the bottom of your foot (which is associated with dirt) to the person you're sitting near. KR's book could also be used to boost a monitor, making it easier to keep up with the contract battle. The idea of poetic justice is appealing, isn't it?...

I don't see the scab label being a big impedement. The teeth in the scab label is that it is a career killer. Considering the bad blood between the IBT and ALPA thanks to the IBTs monumentally stupid decision to take in the GoJets alter ego scabs I don't see ALPA honoring an IBT list. It may stop someone from getting a job at Chautauqua but that would be about it. Unfortunatly there are a lot of people with low morals. One only need to look at BT and his staff to prove it.

You are obviously a troll that is pro management which anyone can see by the direction your posts always go. Who knows, you could be kenn himself trying to scare the weak. But you forget one thing, the weak don't get to vote on this contract. Why don't you ask what the fallout might be with the customers who are about to book their holliday travel, or planning on buying flight time with a company that is about to have a major labor problem right at the start of peak travel. Everyone knows that most of next years sales will, or won't happen at the end of this year. It just won't happen. You will have people rushing to turn in their Jet Pass cards so they can get dependable travel elsewhere.

We are in a service buisness. How can a company try to pretend that they have "the best pilots in the industry" (not my words, managements sales pitch to customers) if all we have left are bottom of the barrel scabbs that couldn't get jobs elsewhere. And with as shakey Flight Options has been, does anyone actually believe that a pilot would want to take a chance and cross a picket line to be forever branded a scabb? It's not like you are crossing a line to get into a blue chip company like Northwest or United that have been around for decades, and will be around for decades more. We are talking about a company that has lost 70 percent of their pilots in less than 5 years. Its a huge gamble that most pilots won't take. But you already knew that.

Don't bet on it Ghetto-FUD. The Scab label transcends union politics.

Ladies and Gentleman, it is clear this Ghetto-FUD punk is a management Troll. He is so transparent. I wonder if based on the fact that his user profile lists him as a BeechJet Check-airman who has flown the CE500 will help us root out his true identity? Why don't we see if we can out this POS.

It's game-on time for the Flight Options pilots, we shouldn't have patience for his brand of self serving crap.

What have you been smoking, Wilma? There are no practice scabs, just like there are no part time lepers.

Suppose someone presents themselves as a sex predator and then tries to minimize the stigma by saying, “but it wasn’t in your neighborhood”. Would that fly?

A scab is a scab is a scab. I’d advise anyone to think twice before trying on that dress.

Why waste your time on a troll with more interest in flops than when he supposedly worked here. Your time would be better spent preparing your food storage and getting things in order for the strike. Don't forget you better have any medical needs attended to for your family before we have to go on cobra.

Ahh yes, the strike threat. I just don't see the logic in this: We're mad at the company because of our wages, so we'll put the company's future in jeopardy. ??? So when there's no company, I guess you won't have to worry about wages, right fools?

Please explain.

im sure they can arrange for you to keep your current wage. And you wouldnt lose your job either. You are a company's dream pilot. minimum wage and carry those write up's home.

Dont waste my time with a response.

Ahhhhh, the "There will be NO Company Threat"

Of course you don't understand the Scuzma.

You are part of Management; you already have your inflated paycheck, why worry about all the little worker bees that make your paycheck possible?

As for the Company going out of business threat, how is that any worse than the Strike threat.

This is a game of chicken. I know this Pilot group well enough to know they are not going to turn the wheel. Keep heading in the direction you are, and the two groups will hit head on, with the result being a Strike.

Maybe Management doesn't believe the Pilots have the balls to go through with it; they are wrong. These guys are fed up.

However, I actually don't believe this thing will be settled before a Strike; until the Pilots PROVE they are willing to shut the place down over the fight for a Fair Contract.

If the Strike does occur, I predict it will be rather short. Management knows full well the Company (and therefore Senior Management's Financial Investment) will not withstand a Strike of any length.

Keep it up Scuzma.... I am sure you are winning the Brown Nosing Points you seek to gain from Senior Management.

If it was just about the money we’d have never voted a union in.

When I went to work I accepted the conditions in place at the time. I never tried to change anything. The company did. They were constantly changing the terms of employment. And, it was always in their favor.

Dispatch overriding maintenance, backed up by the very ops people that should have been the pilots’ advocate left us unprotected and unsafe. Constant unilateral mandates be email were the norm. Screwing with our duty and rest left us with no other alternative. Favoritism, cultism, dishonest managers, and weak willed employees caused this.

Don’t try to simplify this by saying that it’s just the money. Maybe you don’t remember and even some of the union members have forgotten.
Believe me. It wasn’t about the money.

Scumza, the only runway in your future will be on the fashion walk modeling that pretty new uniform for successful fractionals to purchase for their union pilot workforce.

GO AWAY PILOT
EXPLOITER!

Naw, I think I'll just keep fu**ing with the Troll. This rest is in order.

You said it all Turbo, great post!

I'm totally against that. You're not making any sense here. It's actually the pissed off union pilots that carry write-ups to the next no-mx airport, not me.

Dont waste my time with a response.

Begin time wasting: Now.

How about: Go away company exploiter.
Sorry to let you down, but I'm not management - or even close.

Of course you don't understand the Scuzma.

You are part of Management; you already have your inflated paycheck, why worry about all the little worker bees that make your paycheck possible? -False.

As for the Company going out of business threat, how is that any worse than the Strike threat. -Why don't you just quite to make your point instead of negatively affecting other peoples' lives.

-These guys? Yeah, there's like 6 of you on this board that threaten a strike, what about all the others?

However, I actually don't believe this thing will be settled before a Strike; until the Pilots PROVE they are willing to shut the place down over the fight for a Fair Contract. -all 6 of you? Really?

If the Strike does occur, I predict it will be rather short. Management knows full well the Company (and therefore Senior Management's Financial Investment) will not withstand a Strike of any length.

Keep it up Scuzma.... I am sure you are winning the Brown Nosing Points you seek to gain from Senior Management. -Sorry, I have no need for these points you speak of. I have more self respect than that.

Freedom is NOT Free

Again, it's 'Skanza'.

Getting back to the topic of this post, it looks like next week all the cards will be on the table.

The latest company message from CH in CGF confirmed this.

What happens is anyones guess but, it will certainly be a change.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I've gotta say that I'm ready for this to be done, but I ain't gonna flinch either... it better be a decent offer.
