Those numbers you saw on Sharetran all weekend were only for July 1st. The daily and monthly numbers were identical and didn't change all weekend. Someone in the office must have to input the performance numbers into Sharetran (it isn't an up to date ticker like FTWeb has). The numbers didn't change all weekend until the normal office people got back in yesterday (Monday). When you sign on to Sharetran, the numbers at the right for month look pretty bad - soemthing like what Ty posted. 39% on-time departure, 59% on-time arrival. Completion factor still up around 99 percent though.
When the numbers were updated yesterday (meaning performance through Sunday, July 5th), the monthly numbers indicated a DOT on-time arrival rate of 76% and a completion factor of 99.5% (average less than 4 cancellations/day based on a 750 flights a day average through the period). Those are pretty good numbers for a holiday weekend considering how full the flights were.
