Premium Pay at ASA for the 4th of July weekend

Yea, but are those 70 seaters going to the Delta side, or over to the United side. Frankly, I think if things keep up the way they are, we ought to push a hard offensive campaign to net all the 90 seaters flying in and out of Atlanta. They don't need a base here, it's cost prohibitive.........remember?

There are some rumors about that floating around. I won't be upset to see it happen. Let those guys feel a little pain.

Not 100% acturate. A good number of those fellas/gals are at GoJets and are believing they will upgrade in a year and a half. So I'm sure they could care less.

I believe it was only 8. I think 9 applied, and they took 8. Either that or it was 10, and they took 9.

ummm....Yeah, I think 12500 Delta mainline pilots might have a little more pull then you (ASA).

Agreed. ASA isn't entitled to anything more than their written agreement with mainline. ASA isn't the most cost effective carrier in ATL or anywhere else. Yes, they are a professional group, but Delta honestly doesn't care about that as much as the bottom line.

If this is true, when will they show it? Either pull the flying back to the mainline list, or quit giving up scope. Thus far, it doesn't appear that either is being done. Don't get me wrong, I think a 70/90 seater should be on a mainline certificate, but as long as they aren't, I want them at a regional that values it's employees, and pays them well. Would you not agree?

The 700/900's will not be going anywhere.

The only ones that hope so, are the pilots on the low end of the list at Delta. Face it, you will be on the street soon. Part of the benefit of merging, was consolidating and reducing down to an efficient size. That ultimately means job losses. You took the risk when you left your last position. The majority of your pilot group will not spend the capital. In addition, there would be lawsuits for harm against the Pilot group that attempted to do that. Dan Ford established and won on that issue. Your negotiating goals. because of your ALPA legal guidance were changed as a result of it in 2000. But most of you that are chattering and flaming about it were probably still in High School.
