The expected and promised announcement from one of the Barger brothers didn't happen.

The pay didn't go up.

We still sucki.

Rumor is the next carrot dangles until August.

Vote for a union, any union.

Well I for one am not surprised, dissapointed yes. I have absolutely no respect left for management at this airline. Many of us live paycheck to paycheck and needed this raise badly. I truly hope this helps open some bluejuicers minds to the fact that we are no different than any other airline. Wake up.:(

I voted for the JBPA and would have rather seen an in house over ALPA. No longer. No matter the outcome in August, I'll vote for any representation. Mike Barger is not able to manage any pilot group.

This just in....... Jetblue is now officially a major, all the pilots are p1ssed and they are going union........ Just kidding, sortof. I was hoping you guys were going to get those wages so AAI couldn't hold anything over our heads. Mabye, if our guys grow a pair we can try and set the bar up a little higher as well. Good luck and keep fighting.

The new pay rates are out. A day late- not too bad.

How do these numbers compare with expectations? I realize the economy has imploded but what were the realistic expectations (or commonly voiced expectations)?

Don't put that option away anytime soon. This brings base pay up to average. Great. We still have much work to do regarding retirement, medical, insurance, disability, work rules, merger protection and scope, all of which are well below average. And even if every one of these was brought to industry average, which I don't expect this side of a CBA, we'll still just be average. Yay.

What good does it do us to save 2% in dues if it costs us 20% in compensation?

Hi Dude
I get it you are a die hard Union guy. Fact is, JB management and the PVC achieved something you and all the other die hards would have never considered porssible without a CBA.

How about addressing the issues instead of calling someone a die hard. Pay rates mean very little if there are no trip rigs, airplanes to fly (read scope), a paycheck if you are out on LTD, health insurance on LTD, or retirement. I remember my first airline to blueside. Welcome...we're almost average....yippee!

If we had voted in the JBPA, what would the new pay rates be? I mean, I'm just asking.. I think we would be about have about 2% of a CBA finished by now.
